Often pejorative, the term of copy however is part of the history of art. Many famous painters practised the copy to study the techniques of their predecessors or, simply by admiration for their preferred painters. The "copy" of an Artwork consists of lot more than the reproduction of the subject, it is necessary to recognize the technique specific to the Master, its methodology, its pallet and, even its weaknesses.
